VISIT TO PAPATOETOE A very enjoyable afternoon, organised by the members of the Y.W.C.A.. was held in St. John’s Presbyterian Hall, Papatoetoe, on Monday afternoon, when Miss Yuki Kimura, secretary of the Y.AV.C.A.. Tokyo, Japan, gave a very interesting address on the work of the organisation in Japan, and gave a graphic description of the way in which the work is carried out. Mrs. Bradstreet, president of the Auckland branch, presided over a large and interested attendance. Alusical items were contributed by Air. Yeji Kurasawa. pianoforte solo; Mrs. AlcAlillan, vocal solo; and Aliases Blomfield and Logan, vocal duet. At the conclusion of the function. Airs*. Bradstreet accorded a hearty vote of thanks to the speaker.
