OTAHUHU ORPHANS’ CLUB

Bro. O. W. Venables, vice-president of the Otahuhu Orphans' Club, presided over a largre attendance of members and tlieir friends at the fortnightly social evening of the club on Tuesday evening. The official guests of the evening were Bro. S. Kennings. vice-president, Bro. Hough, past-president, Bro. Maxwell. secretary, and officers of the Uevonport Orphans’ Club. A feature of the evening’s entertainment was the contribution of a number of items by members of the Blind Institute. The programme was opened by the club’s orchestra, under the baton of Bro. Edwin Parker. Others who contributed were:—Bros. Les. Hubbard, Stuart Gordon, Ray Brown, Green, Howard Andrew, J. B. Finlayson and Norman Day.
