MANAWATU WINTER FIXTURE LADY TRAINER HAS SEVEN Thero will be a yearling parade held during the progress of the Manawatu winter meeting and there is every indication that there will be a large number of youngsters figuring. Airs. Alc-Donald will probably supply seven candidates, while G. New will have at least four. Included in the lady mentor’s contingent will be pro ducts of Chief Ruler, Paper Aloney and Tea Tray, while New will have three by the Australian sire Top Gallant and one by Colossus. In addition to the parade at Awapuni, there will also be a muster of two-year-olds at the Alarton spring meeting on September G. The first parade in Auckland will be that at Ellerslie at the Pakuranga Hunt Club meeting on August 23. Interesting Youngsters At Awapuni trainer C. Jones is at present engaged handling and educating a quartet of youngsters and he had a full-sister to Arajean at the tracks on Tuesday morning. She is a solidlooking customer and promises to bo much bigger than her elder sister.

Jones’s other youngsters are a Black Ronald—Millie Abbey colt, who already stands 15 hands; a Nigger Minstrel —Sleeping Beauty filly (a halfsister to Glen Rossie), and a Nigger Alinstrel —Jean Laddo colt. Incidentally. it is stated that Jean Laddo is well in foal to Arausio.
