During the last week of the campaign all remittances from contestants must be either in cash, bank draft or certified cheques. During the last seven days no uncertified personal cheque over £5 can be accepted by the campaign manager. Contestants who receive personal cheques for more than that amount should immediately cash them or should get the cheque certified by the bank before presenting it to the campaign manager for votes. This procedure is definite and all contestants should take warning so that no embarrassment may be caused at the last minute. All contestants should have their judges present at the final count aud should either be present themselves or empower the judge to make the selection of prizes when the contestant’s name is called during the prize award. When a contestant does not make immediate selection of prizes when his name is called, the campaign manager will be empowered to select the best available prize and the selection will be then passed on to the next contestant in line. All contestants must abide by this rule, so that the distribution will not be held up while a contestant takes time deciding what prizes he wishes. All contestants must be prepared to make selection Immediately.
