THEFT ALLEGED
EX-JOCKEY REMANDED Charged with the theft of various articles at Takapuna on March 22, 1929, George Albert Hedley Nixon, alias George Langley, was remanded to appear at the Police Court on July 23, by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. todav. Nixon, an ex-jockey, aged 34, was charged with stealing a black fox fur, a purse, four pairs of women's stockings, a pair of men's slippers, soap, scent and os in cash, the properev of L. E. Wiseman.
Chief-Detective Hammond asked lor a remand until July 23, which was granted by Mr. Hunt.
