Graham Moon, aide-de-camp to the Governor of Fiji, and Lady Moon .arrived on the Limited this morning. Mr. T. N. Holmden returned tu Auckland by the Niagara yesterday. He has been visiting Suva on business. Mr J Findlay, secretary of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association, was a. passenger on the Limited this morning. Mr. G. C. Godfrey, Secretary of the Marine Department, arrived in Auckland yesterday and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr D. Sidey, a brother of Sir Thonias Sidey, Attorney-General, returned from Australia by the Maunganui this morningt Mr. David .Tones, M.P., chairman of the Meat Producers' Board returned from abroad by the Niagara yesterday and left last evening tor Wellington. Mr X. M. Speer, secretary of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, left last evening for Wellington to attend the conference of power board secretaries. Mr C. H. Wyatt and Mr. M. Camming have been elected to the new Birkenhead Fire Board as the representatives of the insurance companies doing business in the district. Mr. J. R. Fow, Mayor of Hamilton, aocompanied by Mr. R. W orley, the Hamilton Borough engineer, left for Wellington last evening in connection with the Hamilton unemployed relief proposals. Mr. W. Wakeford-Cox arrived from Vancouver yesterday on a holiday trip, and is staving at the Grand Hotel. He has been for 36 years manager of me South British Insurance Company in Shanghai. Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, chairman, Mr. T Bloodworth and Mr. H. T. Goldie, of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, are to leave this evening for Wellington as delegates to the annual conference of power boards and supply authorities. The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher, kite of the Beresford Street Congregational Church, left last evening for Wellington accompanied by Mrs. Fletcher.
