RIALTO, NEWMARKET
Tho current programme at the Rialto Theatre will have its final screening there tonight. This includes “The Night Parade,” an exciting New York boxing story starring Aileen Pringle and Hugh Trevor, and “South Sea Rose,” an intriguing story of a native girl brought to civilisation, starring Lenore Ulric. From tomorrow, when an entirely new programme will be shown, the Rialto will present another doublefeature talkie programme. In this case tho pictures will be “The Terror,” a talkie thriller based on Edgar Wallace’s famous play and starring Edward Everett Horton, May McAvoy, Holmes Herbert and Louise Fazenda; also “Harmony at Home,” a comedy dealing with domestic differences. “LIVING LONDON” AT LONDON fc A considerable amount of interest is being taken in the splendid sound film, “Living London,” which is being shown at tho London Theatre. The greatest city in the world Is seen in the picture in all its different aspects. The historical buildings which are mentioned so_ often in literature are shown, in addition to tho huge modern structures that are changing the appearance of the old city to such an extent. Some of the magnificent ducal mansions and the leading hotels and clubs, the picturesque scenes of the foreign quarters and some of the poverty-stricken streets are all seen. To complete the picture of life in London today, views of the people at work and play are given. There is an entertaining programme of supporting items, including a “Mickey Mouse” sound cartoon. Tho Arthur Hammerstein musical production tentatively called “Bride 06,” has been changed to “Lottery Bride,”
