REGISTRATIONS DOWN BY 46 AUCKLAND DECREASE Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. There was a decrease of 46 over the previous week in the number of unemployed registered in New Zealand for the week ended July. 7, according to a statement by the Minister of Labour today. The week’s total was 5,445, and details of registrations at labour bureaux and post offices are as follow, the figures for the previous week being in parentheses:—Auckland, 1,471 (1517); Wellington, 644 (686); Christchurch, 890 (868); Dunedin, 364 (308); Invercargill, 145 (140).
