WINGS

ThO'stars are not so far away; Sometimes X think that I, With just a tiny pair of wings. Could surely reach the sky. %

I’d play with all the silver gtars; I’d bring some back with me, And wear them shining in my hair For everyone to see.

If I could grow a pair of wings, I’d leave one afternoon; By five o’clock, or thereabouts, I’d surely reach the moon!

I’d bring a moon-child back with me, r And everyone would call To pay respects to one who made The greatest flight of all. Gloria Kawlinson, aged 11.
