In London 13 statues have been erected at various times to the memory of womeu. The queens Boadicea, Anne (there are two statues of Anne), Elizabeth, Charlotte, Victoria and Alexandra have been honoured, aud there are also statues of Mrs. Siddons, Florence Nightingale, Grace Darling, Nurse Cavell. Margaret MacDonald, wife of the preseut Prime Minister of Britain, and Mrs. Pankhurst, the suffragette leader.
