Magistrate's Court on sly-gros ! charges, as the result of a raid made by Senior-Sergeant H. H. Butler and a police party on a house at 252 WB» j| i Street on Tuesday night. The accused were William Paiib | aged 23 years, and Agnes Price, aH»* Davis, aged 30 years. Pain plead** guilty to a charge of selling liQ®* j without a licence, and the w oman tt ; a charge to being privy to the sal* 1 in a house of which she was an occ* pier. Each was fined *** coeta.
