CANCER RESEARCH CAMPAIGN

APPOINTMENT OF ORGANISER At a meeting of the Auckland Division of the British Empire Cancer Campaign Society, held at the University yesterday afternoon, a sub-com-mittee was set up to consider the appointment of an organiser for a proposed campaign to raise £25,000. Mrs A D. Campbell suggested the appeal should be run on the same line* as the obstetrical appeal.

Mr Kenneth Mackenzie, chairman: That is scarcely practicable with one organiser. It was decided to make an effort to get local medical men interested in the campaign.

Dr. E. P. Neale tendered his resignation from the division, because of a clashing' of meetings. This was accepted , A resolution to open a savings bank account was carried.
