‘ROOKERY NOOK”

BRITISH FILM FOR ST. JAMES British film prestige in Auckland will be materially enhanced by the presentation of “Rookery Nook.” one of a number of talkies of unusual merit, which will begin a season at the JSt. James Theatre next week. “Rookery Nook” is the first of the British talkies which have been obtained by the St. James, and will be shown for an extended season. All the English actors who appeared in the London stage production of this Ben Travers’ farcical comedy take part in the film, which anybody with the slightest sense of the ridiculous must enjoy.

Many will consider this the bestacted screen comedy yet seen in Auckland. The voices are clear and natural.
