PRESENTATION OF ONE-ACT PLAYS BY NGATARINGA PLAYERS
FUNDS FOR NEW TENNIS CLUB PAVILION To raise funds for the new pavilion of the Ngataringa Tennis Club, the Ngataringa Comedy Players presented four one-act plays to appreciative audiences on Alonday and Tuesday evenings, tinder the direction of Mayor U. J. Redmond. The plays presented were:—“A Scottish Rebel,” the caste of which included Miss Ruby Ros-s, Aliss Jean McGowan, Afessrs. Alec McGowan, K. Anderson, L. Browning and L). Stevenson; a love comedy of the eighties entitled “After Alany Years,” played by Alias H. AVyatt, Aliss V. Cunningham, Miss K. Johnson, and Air. W. Lewis. “The Letter,” acted by Miss Una Dawson, Miss Ruth Lewin, Air. Stan Bates, and Air. Frank Stevenson, and a piece. entitled “Changed Circumstances,” the caste of which, included Misses H. Lewin, V. Cunningham, Gwen Johnson, Airs. M. Badger, and Air. W Lund.
