PEACEMAKER’S BROTHER IN TRAINING
Peacemaker’s brother. Pacifier, which cost 1,000 guineas at the Trentham yearling sales last January, has been broken in and is now being prepared by C. O’Rourke for the early two-year-old races in Sydney. Pacifier is a stoutly built colt, being rather low set and evidently takes after the Martian type. He certainly overshadows many other rising two-year-olds in work. Tea Lake, which is owned by Mr. D. J. Davis, owner of Pliar Lap, is a nice type of filly, which is said to give promise of galloping early. She is a two-year-old, and trainer O’Rourke has given her a great chance, for she was spelling in New Zealand for about six months before being broken in.
Walk Easy Ointment for tired, tender feet. Removes hard skin, callouses, etc. Works while you sleep. No excuse for limping Tin posted for Is 6d. —E. W. Hall, 117 Armagh Street. Christchurch.—3.
