WINTERING AT WANGANUI Last winter the "Wairarapa trainer, W. I). Moroney, made his headquarters temporarily at Wanganui in order to take advantage of the excellent tracks obtaining there during the winter. The same course will be carried out on this occasion, and Moroney is expected at tho River City this week with a team of seven, comprising .Vertigern, Count Palatine, Tenterden. Kalmuk, Appledore, Grecian and Richborough (a brother to Tenterden). It is expected their stay will extend to three months. Moroney scored many successes with his team after last winter’s sojourn a.t "Wanganui, and it would he pleasing to see similar results attend liis visit there this year.
