PAPAKURA METHODISES

The quarterly meeting of the Papakura Methodist circuit was held in the Papakura Methodist Church on Tuesday evening. The Rev. F. W. Martin presided for the first time since taking over the superintendency of the circuit. The chairman said the roll stood at 142, an increase of 11. The financial statement showed a debit balance of £l3. The young people’s movement throughout the circuit was in a healthy state. A “Happy Hour Club” had been people’s clubs at Papakura and Manurewa.
