PALAIS ROYAL DANCE CLUB
SUCCESSFUL OPENING NIGHT A most successful opening dance of the Palais Royal Dance Club was held on Alonday evening in the Lewis Eady Hall. The hall was decorated with multicoloured balloons, and excellent dance music was played by New Zealand’s All Girls’ Jazz Band. Among those present were: Airs. Sw inbourne, in red georgette; AJis. u. Kemp, white satin relieved with black; Mrs. F. -lames, black satin and georgette; Mrs. J. Conway, black beaded georgette; Airs. Larry Lasher, jade fnf- ! feta; Mrs. V. Williamson, silver tinsel: Airs. It. 1 >uftv. mauve georgette and lace; • Airs. J. B. Hibbert. black frock relieved with diamente trimming; Mrs. At. Co Albert, jade green georgette and lace; Mrs. G. Jhiftv. black satin and georgette: Mrs. AI. Ilill, black chiffon: Mrs. Arthur salmon taffeta and net: Mrs. Jack Hill, jade green; Mrs. If. Pooler, black satin; Miss K. Ball, white georgette; Afiss F. Casey, green chiffon. Miss Bryan, who wore rose beaded georgette : * Aliss T. Stokes, jade green chenille: Aliss H. Brown, blue g« orgette; Aliss L. Topp, blue satin: Aliss M. Munn, white chiffon; Aliss F. Bond, parchment satin heavily beaded; Aliss H. Hogan, mauve crepe de chine; Aliss AT. Saxon, sea green georgette; Aliss D. Smith, black crepe de chine; Aliss K.
