“A Night in Spain” With the Athenians

GAY EVENING MISS KIRKBY IS HOSTESS Miss Nora Kirkby was hostess at the Athenian Club revel, “A Night in Spain,” on Saturday evening. Tho stage had been* charmingly decorated to represent a Spanish garden with orange groves, vivid flowers, and grape vines. A delightful programme included a spectacular dance scene, “The Bull Fight,” by pupils of Aliss Cecil Hall; and items by Miss L. Holmes and Air. Wright, Aliss Clare Seale, Mrs. Armstrong, Air. Keven, Air. Ernest Snell and Air. Dan Flood. Aliss Kirkby received the guests wearing a picturesque gown of Spanish lace with lace mantilla. Among those present were: Airs. F.
