POWER BOARD NOTICEb PROPOSAL TO BORROW UNDER THE LOCAL BODIES’ LOANS ACT. 1926, AND ITS AMENDMENTS, THE SUM OF £17.000 FOR THE PERMANENT CONSTRUCTION OF THREE KINGS ROAD, preparatory to the laying of tramway tracks by the Auckland Transport Board. FORMATION OF PATHWAYS. AND LAYING WATER MAIN S-INCH DIAMETER. The Body Corporate, the inhabitants of the Mount Roskill Road District, hereby give notice, in pursuance of Section 10 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, as follows: (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required Is the permanent construction in concrete of Three Kings Road, formation of pathways, and laying- of water main S-inch diameter, and formation of entrances to private property, and the acquisition of land for road-widening purposes if and where required. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £17.000, and the term of the loan is to be 20 years. For the repayment of the Joan, a sinking fund of £3 per centum per annum, calculated on the amount raised, is to be provided. (c) The proposed security is a rate of twenty-five sixty-fourths of one penny in the £ on all rateable property in the Mount Roskill Road District, based on the unimproved value as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the Mount Roskill Road District. (d) Tt is proposed to pay out o? the loan the cost of raising the same, but the interest and sinking fund for the first year will not be paid out of the loan. A Poll of Ratepayers of the Mount Roskill Road District will be taken on the proposal on WEDNESDAY, the sixth day of August, 1930, at the following polling-places:— METHODIST HALL, PAH ROAD.
