VAGRANT IN TENT \ t From Oar Our* Correspondent ] HAMILTON. Today.A sickly-looking youth. James Ciodden. was remanded in the Hamilton Police Court today, for sentence for vagrancy. The police said Godden had beer? sleeping in a tent on the rix er-bank for a month. His only furnishing was a damp mattress and his only f<*ort was oatmeal. The lad’s father said his son would not work. He promised, to take him back if he would promise not to be violent.
