OVER THE FIRST FENCE in the Wellington Steeplechase at Trentham where the Wellington Racing Club opened its winter meeting yesterday. Mangani (the winner) is leading Wharncliffe* Radiate, Master Lu and Aurora Borealis. The latter made a great run in the straight, but was beaten by head.
THREE GENERATIONS OF ROYALTY drove to the trooping of the colours on the King’s Birthday last month. With her Majesty in the carriage are Prince George, Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood, the young Viscount Lascelles and his brother.
