ROMANCE
Sometimes, along sandy reaches strolling, I feel an urge within by breast to wander Far over the silver seas, Away from this fragile isle. Set in southern seas, Maybe to find romance; But when over silver, oceans I have sailed, * Scaled the highest mountain And peered round corners just ahead. Romance seems always in the future still, Or in the past so gay. Flying Beetle (Leslie Crago).
