Shipping is steady. Devonport Perry have firmed to buyers 235, sellers 255. Northern Steams paid are a shade firmer, sales 14s 9. Union Steam have persistent buyers at 20s 3d. Timber shares are attracting numerous investors. Leyland-O’Brien have buyers at 245, sellers remaining at 28s 3d. National are steady with buyers 7s 3d, sellers 9s. Barker-Lamb have persistent buyers 11s, sellers holding for 10s. Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd. The following report has been issued by Taranaki (New Zealand) Oilfields, Ltd., for the week ended July 5: Waitangi No. 1 well: Removal of equipment from Gisborne No. 2 site and road construction of new’ site is proceeding, after some delay caused by the weather.
