DANCE EVENING AT ORIENTAL RENDEZVOUS A very enjoyable party and dance was organised by Miss Dye, at the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere, on Saturday evening. Aliss Dye’s frock was of peach pink flowered taffeta. Among those present were: Airs. R. Carton, in black georgette and diamente; Airs. ,T. Harper, green enibossed georgette; Aliss Mary Wathew, cameo pink georgette and - tulle. Miss Xorah Brody, cream georgette: Miss Eunice Hayward, buttercup satin, ankle length; Aliss G. Voting, rose chiffon velvet; Aliss Alice Creedon. midnight blue georgette; Miss Dot Aston, shell pink georgette and net; Aliss Lilian Littlejohn, periwinkle blue embossed georgette; Aliss Gwen Afangan, sea green satin beaute. ankle length; Aliss Esme Rout, salmon pink satin, ankle length: Miss Bowen, black crepe de chine, french embroideries; Miss E. Hughes, draped pink satin; Aliss Archer, black georgette: Miss Mavis Aleredith, sea green and apricot georgette; Aliss It. Quirke, black georgette and gold lace. ATiss Mavis Dye, wearing ivory spotted tulle; Aliss C. Alartinengo. lilac taffeta. Miss Lorna Alcßae, cardinal red georgette; Miss Phil Ilayson, scarlet satin; Aliss L. Yeo, black beaded georgette; Aliss D. Parker, black satin and lace; Miss B. Wilson, daffodil floral georgette: Aliss C. Devlin, jade green georgette and silver coat; Aliss M. Strutt, ivory georgette, ankle length; Aliss G. Chalmers. mist green georgette and net; Aliss Beswick, black satin and lace; Aliss Forbes, black satin: Miss Peterson, figured velvet; Miss M. Bartley, mist green taffeta; Miss Dumper, salmon’ pink crepe de chine; Miss H. Martin, cyclamen georgette, ankle length; Miss R. Service, floral satin; Miss Foster, blue taffeta; Miss AT.
