THAMES OLD GIRLS

ENJOYABLE AT HOME An At Home was held in the Pitt Street Methodist Schoolroom /yesterday afternoon by the Old Thames Girls’ Association. A large gathering of members and friends was present, and Mrs. Alfred Oldham presided. A programme was given. Airs. J. Patterson being heartily encored for her rendering of some appealing old songs. There was also community singing and recitations by Aliss Pilkington, which were heartily appreciated. The association is always ready to help those in need and voted a good donation to the Returned Soldiers. Afternoon tea was served by the committee. Mrs. Wooley read an account of Airs. .1. A. Miller's 60 years’ residence at Thames.
