FINE PROGRAMME Excellent talkie programmes continue to be shown at the Orpheus Theatre, Otaliuhu. Tonight and tomorrow night the chief attraction will be “Little Johnny Jones,” an exciting tale of horse-racing in England and in America. Eddie Buzzell and Alice Day are the stars, and the picture is accompanied by bright supports. From Thursday until the end of the week, including a Saturday matinee, the Orpheus will present “On With the Show,” a glamorous and colourful tale of stage life with tuneful melodies, and spectacular dancing and ensembles. Sally O’Neill is the star. “.For the Defence” has been selected as the title for William Powell’s next all-talking production. In this, the star appears as a prosecuting attorney who becomes a. criminal lawyer after having obtained the sentence of i)n innocent man.
