Injuries which resulted in hie d, later were received by a school named Lawrence J Allen, aged J. and a-ha If years, a Fon of Mr * Mrs Peter Allen, of Oiahnhn" 5' was knocked down by a motor driven by Mrs. Bigley, of Ha .era’ 3 3.30 o’clock yesterday afternoon i the Great South Road, Otahuhu ~ After receiving attention from bCurrie, the injured boy w M veyed to the Auckland Hospital s the St. John Ambulance suffering severe concussion. He died sol? hours later.
The boy was attempting to op. the road and emerged between (*■■’ cars parked on tbc side of the rote when he was knocked down by jj-. Bigley’s car.
An inquest was opened by jj r jH. Levlen. S.M . thi- morning, gj,.. evidence of identification had be?, given, the inquiry was adjourned.
