FATAL ACCIDENT

MAN STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR Fatal head injuries were received by Mr. William John Robert Gerrard, aged 57, of 67 Mount St. John Avenue, Epsom, when he was struck by a motor-car while crossing Broadway, Newmarket, at 5.40 o’clock last evening. The injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and he died four hours later. The car was driven by Mr. A. S. Neal, of Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Eden.
