WAIKATO HUNT
MEET AT MATANGI From Our Own Correspondent CAMBRIDGE, Monday. Despite wretched weather conditions a field of 50 riders, including several women, turned out on Saturday at the meet of the Waikato hounds at Mr. and Mrs. Oliver’s residence, Matangi. Scent was good in the early part of the day and several splendid runs were obtained, though no kills were registered. With the late heavy rains the country was heavy, but there were no serious accidents, and apart from the cold rain, the day was enjoyed.
