ENDURANCE FLIERS FORCED DOWN BY MISHAP Reed. Noon. CHICAGO, Friday. The airplane, City of Chicago, landed at 5.20 p.m. today after being aloft for 23 days, 1 hour 40 minutes. This breaks all sustained flight records. A broken oil-guage caused the machine to land.
