NEW VOTE BONUS PERIOD OPENS MONDAY FOR DURATION OF WEEK

During ibis week a special vote ballot of ”00 000 votes will he given for each rot al of £lO in subscription money. \s the contest progresses, contesttots and friends of contestants are becalming to realise the vital importance „{ taking advantage of these great bonus offers. Subscriptions this week will count more than they will the week after. Every week the special bonus ballot will be reduced from now on—therefore make your big drive now. \y e think the people of Auckland are satisfied that the Campaign Manager intends to run this campaign along the lines exactly as outlined in the beginning. NEW CONTESTANT HEADS LIST That the race for the valuable prizes offered in The Sun's great popularity contest is anybody’s race is manifested again today in the fact that a brand new contestant leads the list. .Mrs. Ethel Woods, of Gordontou, entered the contest this week and now leads the entire list. Thus it goes—when a contestant thinks surely he is in the lead, in comes a new contestant and leaves hint in the distance. Once you arrive at the top of the list—don't get over-confident and slack up your speed—your position is a precarious one. Mr. R. M. Beswiok, I-J.M. Customs, is leading the Auckland list, with Mr. E. de la Mare second. The Rev. Jasper Calder is third. Mr. W. F. Williams, of Devonport, also holds an enviable position. NOT TOO LATE TO ENTER There is still opportunity for new contestants to enter the contest and win a prize. A contestant, at this time, fa enter the race must bring in one subscription before his name will be entered in the list. Every contestant tvho actually puts forth an effort

to win and turns in at least £lO in subscription money will be positivelv assured of a prize. BALANCES COUNT All balances left over from the bonuses of the period just past will count right on the next 300,000 bonus. For instance, if a contestant had turned in J2G in subscription money but did not get enough to make up a total of £lO, the £6 will be cari ieti forward and when a contestant turns in £4 more, the special 300,000 bonus ballot will be issued. r rhe campaign is right now in the most interesting stage. Every week counts and every subscription counts. If you have promises of subscriptions this is the week to get them, for the ne\t week they count less and then the week after less. A HELENSVILLE CONTESTANT
