BRIDE IN ATTRACTIVE BROWN ENSEMBLE
BOUQUET OF FRAGRANT VIOLETS CLEGG—MACNAUGHTON The wedding was quietly celebrated at the Church of the Epiphany recently, when Ruth Eleanor Macnaughton, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Macnaughton, of Grey Lynn, was married by the Rev. ID. Madison to Douglas Hollington Clegg, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Clegg, of Wantage, Berks., England. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a becoming ensemble of beech brown chiffon velvet, with green felt hat trimmed with brown felt flowers. She carried a bouquet Of fragrant violets. Mrs. Eric Hailston attended her sister as matron of honour. She wore a smart citronne and black jumper suit, with black hat, and carried a posy of violets.
