DIXIELAND CABARET
The ever-popular Dixieland Cabaret will be the scene of another happy Saturday Gala Carnival dance tonight. The latest and brightest music is played by the Dixieland Dance Band 1 and a happy time is assured. Filming lias started on “Monte Carlo,” Ernst Burnt sch’s next lavish screen operetta, in which Jeanette MacDonald and Jack Buchanan play the leads. The new film play is the work of Ernest Vajda, whe wrote “The Love Parade,” and Vincent Luwrende.
Greta Garbo is perhaps the only motion picture star to walk into her first talking scene without having a voice test or having practised before the microphone.
