LECTURE ON EARTHQUAKES

Tlio first of a series of interesting scientific lectures on the subject of earthquakes and other terrestrial phenomena will be delivered in the concert chamber next Tuesday evening. The lecturer will be Mr. F. R. Field. Dr. J. P. Hastings will be in the chair. This lecture has been organised under the auspices of the recently formed Field Scientific Research Society.
