IMPORTANCE OF SUNLIGHT The betterment of the mental, emotional and physical health of the , people and of the younger members j of the community in particular was the * aim of the People’s Health Society, } said the president, Mr. A. Dr. Rollier was ! of the opinion that by teaching the children the fundamental principles of health a new race would spring up which would be impervious to tuberculosis. Sunlight treatment gave the patient new vitality*, killed the germs, and had a decidedly cheerful effect on the mental condition of the patient- It has been disclosed by the X-ray that diseased bones, under sunlight treatment, had actually re-formed. Dr. C. S. Bone also spoke, outlining the effect of emotions on food and showing its influence on thought. which in turn reacted on the body. I Dr. J. P.
