HITCH IN ROTARY

AUSTRALIAN APPOINTMENTS TO OFFICIAL POSTS

GUARDED STATEMENT Reed. 11.5 a.m. CHICAGO, Monday. Asked to confirm an earlier report of the confirmation of three District Governors for Australian Rotary at a meeting last Friday, Rotary International informed the Australian Press Association: “International Rotary deems it advisable to have two districts of approximately 1G clubs each, instead of three districts with one having only four clubs. “An exchange of ideas is in progress and we hope to have a definite conclusion for release on Tuesday.” The informant declined to make any further announcement.
