DOUBLE TRAGEDY

PLANE CRASHES WITH PILOT AND ENGINEER

NOTED AIRMAN KILLED

LONDON, Monday. A double flying fatality occurred at Croydon. A noted air pilot, Alexander Anderson, and an engineer named Hammett, crashed in an airplane and both were killed.

Anderson was a leading parachutist wing-walker and acrobat. Hundreds of holiday-makers witnessed the accident.
