SHORE DANCE

BUNTING AND BALLOONS DECORATE HALL BAND MEMBERS ENTERTAINED Harry Bolton’s Apache Juzz Orchestra gave a complimentary dance to the members of the Devonport. United Band last evening* in the Parish Hall, and a merry evening was spent. The hall was gaily decorated with bunting, and balloons clouded the rafters and later descended in a veritable rain of colour on to the dancers. The music was directed by Air. T-L Bolton, and Air. J. Bull controlled the floor. Airs. Gedye was hostess for the evening. Among those present were: Airs. Gedye, lime green crepe de chine; Airs. Harry Bolton, mauve flounced satin; Airs. Aliss Gardiner, wearing black embossed chenille; Miss B. Gibbon, blue crepe de chine and sequins; Aliss L. Brown, lilac ninon and georgette; Miss J. Smith, black and silver sequined frock; Miss H. Bell, orange crepe de chine; Aliss Larner, mauve chiffon, embossed with silver; ATiss Procter, eau de nil georgette: Miss Procter, turquoise blue beaded georgette; Aliss Brough, honey raarocain; Miss C.
