BRITANNIA. THREE LAMPS
“High Treason,” which is now being shown at the Britannia Theatre, is an unusually engrossing picture of life in 1940. Many intriguing developments are shown, including elevated streets, the Channel tunnel, mobilisation of women for war, mechanical music, men’s dress reform, and big new political groupings in Europe. The strong cast of English players is headed by Benita Hume and Jameson Thomas in tho chief romantic roles, Humbertson Wright and many others. Full supports will also be shown at tho Britannia this evening.
