The sanitation charge will be Is a week, or £2 a year; and the refuse collection charge 2s a year. The total rates will be 92d in the £. an increase of 2d. Of this, 6.1484 d goes in payment of interest on loans and sinking fund, and 2d for water maintenance, leaving 2.8510 d for the maintenance of public works.
