The second of a series of concerts ■ to be given during the winter months was presented by the Auckland Cham - j her Music Society at the Lewis Eady Hall last evening. A Villiers Stanford quintet. a BeetI hoven quartet, which included the most representative of the composer s j earlier works, and a bracket of song=* • made up a very enjoyable programru ; The society will give another concert j on September 8.
