The reef maintains its size, and is carrying a little blende and iron pyrites. The drive on No. 1 reef south is now 14 feet from the chamber. The reef is getting more compact, and a change of country is coining in. The reef has got very little underlie, and has a A ery promising appearance for making values. Tui.—During the week the rise on No. 2 reef was carried a total distance of 33 feet from the back of the drive. The reef is three feet wide, and is still carrying nice minerals. There is a band of pug on the footwall of the reef about nine inches wide, and the dropper should be at hand at any time.
