LANDSLIDE ON TRAIN
FIVE PASSENGERS CRUSHED IN JAPANESE SMASH 45 RESCUED EXHAUSTED TOKYO, Saturday. A landslide occurred on the railway at Yamaguehi and deeply buried a train, in which there were 50 passengers. Eight hundred workmen were sent to the spot ajid at once began to clear away the debris. They succeeded in rescuing 45 of the passengers, all of whom were on the point of exhaustion. The other five passengers were killed. Their bodies were recovered.
