AT IT AGAIN

“NIGHT CLUB QUEEN” PLANS GETAWAY POLICE THERE FIRST Reed. 12.50 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. Mrs. Meyrick, styled the “Night Club Queen,” has not reigned long in night clubs af-ter her release from prison on April 28. The police raided the “Forty-three Club” in the early morning and Mrs. Meyrick left tearfully in a private motor-car. A warrant for her arrest followed.

The police asked for substantial bail, as it was discovered that Mrs. Meyrick had applied for a passport for France. She was released on bail of £2,000.
