BACKFIRE CAUSES DAMAGE
Extensive damage was done to the coach work of a motor-car when a back-fire in the engine caused an outbreak of fire. The Remuera Brigade extinguished the flames. The car was owned by Mr. R. Lewis, of Kotara Street, Remuera, and the accident occurred at 11 o’clock yesterday mornT he . insurance on the vehicle is £ «00, with the New Zealand Insurance Company.
