SKELETONS FOUND
WORKMEN FIND WOMAN AND CHILD IMPRISONED IN CAVE Press Association ROTORUA, Today. Workmen blasting boulders to form a new road to Tarawera, and Lake shore discovered in a small cave the skeleton of a woman and child. A boulder at some period had dislodged the cliff above, imprisoning the vie-; tims. It may have happened during \ the Tarawera eruption in ISB6, though the bones suggest an earlier period.
