ASSAULT IN SAMOA
CONSTABLE SERIOUSLY ; HURT BY NATIVES POLICE PA&TY OUT Special to P.A. by Radio Reed. 1.45 p.m. APIA, Wednesday. On June 23 a European constable was attacked and seriously injured by Samoans at Papa, an isolated village On the south coast of Savaii. The constable, who was alone and armed, but did not use his arms, ist now in the Apia Hospital after a long sea voyage. A police party is dealing with the situation.
