Miss Molly Ross, of Feilding, is visiting Airs. AY. AI. Coventry, in Alatangi. PARTY FOR BRIDE-TO-BE Miss Ruby Vickery, who is shortly to be married, was the guest of honour on Tuesday evening when Miss Ernestine Hume gave a jolly bridge party at her home. Airs. W. H. Hume was wearing a handsome frock of black beaded georgette. Aliss Ernestine Hume was in a pretty frock of cherry georgette. Aliss Vickery’s frock was of periwinkle blue panne velvet. Prizes were won by Aliss Vickery and Miss V. Watts. Others present wore Airs. F. Vickery, Airs. AV. Graham, Aliss AI. Gillies, Aliss AI. Clay ton-Greene, Aliss N. Sergei, Miss D. Yule, Aliss D. Clarke, Aliss E. Ward, Aliss F. Hall, Aliss AI. Mears, Miss Iv. Wilson. READING CIRCLE On Tuesday evening the Reading Circle of the Lyceum Club had a very bright evening. The play read was Harold Brighouse’s “Hobson’s Choice,” and the cast included Henry Horatio Hobson, read by Aliss G. Eggleston; William Alossop, Airs. J. Prenton; Albert Prosse, Aliss Eastwood; Timothy AVadlow, Airs. Linder; Jim Heeler, Airs. Scrimshaw; Freddie Beenstock, Miss L. Nicholls; Dr. AlacFarlane, Mrs. H. Hopkins: Maggie Hobson, Miss Osmers; Alice Hobson, Aliss P. Bullock; Vicky Hobson, Aliss C. Cleverly; Ada Figgins, Aliss I. Duff; Airs. Hep worth, Airs. Blomfield.
