REMAND ON FRAUD CHARGE
From Our Oxen Correspondent OPOTIKI, Wednesday. j In the Opotiki Police Court today, William Thomas Watson was charged that about April 7, at Auckland, with intent to defraud, he obtained from William Charles Dulieu Gs 6d by means of falsely representing that a ticket purporting to be a Golden Art Union was issued by the Golden Art Union. ! Brisbane. Accused, who was arrested this : morning by Detective-Sergeant Doyle, ‘ was remanded to appear at Auckland j on Friday. Mr. Doyle said other j charges were pending.
